Kickstart Switchers
DKB: MultiStart I
Connection: Kickstart Socket |

Image 2
This VERY early Kickstart switcher is listed as the A500 version of the KwikStart II. It's actually quite different and might be better off listed as a seperate device. It came with a ROM version of KickStart 1.1, split across four 27C512-equivalent PROMs:
U4 = EVEN LO
U5 = EVEN HI
U6 = ODD LO
U7 = ODD HI
This appears to be one of the first Kickstart switchers designed for the A500/2000. It comes with a ROM version of Kickstart 1.1, split across four 27C512-equivalent PROMs: U4 = EVEN LO U5 = EVEN HI U6 = ODD LO U7 = ODD HI The remaining socket is for a standard 40-pin 16-bit ROM. The clip attaches to pin 41 of the "GARY" chip. ROMs are switched by holding down reset(CTRL+LAMIGA+RAMIGA) for 3-6 seconds.
