The AMax-II is a Zorro version of the A-Max Apple Macintosh emulator. The AMax-II+ is actually the same card, but was only called this when supplied with version 4 of the Amax software as opposed to version 2 of the software. The card has two ports, one is labelled "printer" which is probably a serial port and the other is labelled "serial or MIDI". One of these ports can be used to communicate in an AppleTalk network.
