SCSI Controller
ID #4271
Expansion Systems: Dataflyer 1200 SCSI
Connection: IDE |
The Dataflyer 1200 SCSI connects to the internal IDE port of the A1200 and A600. It basically adapts the IDE interface to allow it to use SCSI devices by the means of an external SCSI II connector which attaches to the card and is fixed it place at the blanking plate found on the back of an A1200. The board itself still has the 2.5" IDE connector so you can still use 2.5" IDE hard drives. Supports up to 5 EXTERNAL scsi devices and 2 internal IDE devices. SCSI devices attached to this board, cannot be auobooted.
