As far as I know, this particular model of the 040 has never been used as the base processor in an Amiga or an accelerator card. It should however be 100% compatible. The only difference between the 68040 and 68040V is that it uses 3.3V instead of 5V and lacks an FPU. There have been reports of hardware hackers getting the processor to work in a Cyberstorm Mk-I.
